Stayed at this hotel from April 24-26 and I have to admit that the rooms are quite nice and the staff is very accommodating. We originally decided to stay their 1 night but after we woke up on Friday morning we decided to stay another night. We called the front desk and told them that we wanted to stay 1 more night and they told us the 2 double bed rooms were overbooked but they could give us a king room. We opted for that since it was just my fiance and I anyway. To top it all off we didn't have to pay the weekend rate because of the inconvience that was caused which worked out to be about $100 less.

We stayed in the Clubroom which is on the 15 and 16 floor of the hotel and could only be accessed on the elevator by your room key. This gives you free internet service and each room has a fax/printer machine. You also get a continental breakfast and snacks throughout the day.

The breakfast was mediocre and really not the best. I just ate fruit because nothing was really appealing to me.

The indoor heated pool was wonderful and warm. My fiance and I were the only ones there so it was even better.

The jitneys run fast but we did have a long wait on the way back to the hotel but it is only $2.00 per person which works out well.

There are nice sized flat panel tv's (32 inches) and the bathrooms were very very clean. The bed is really comfortable which worked out well for us as well.

Overall this was a nice hotel to stay at for a great price!!!

We stayed at this hotel because it was the least expensive option. Front desk was friendly, and explained the parking situation. Keep in mind that if come back late, it can get a bit sketchy in the parking area...you have to walk through the convention center to cross to the hotel, and there were a few characters...Don't walk alone! Also, on the other side of the parking garage is a hospital...and there were a few sketchy people loitering there as well...

Room was very clean and updated. Did have a noise problem...About 5AM, 5 intoxicated women were sitting in the hallway outside our door talking VERY LOUDLY for about 20 minutes...we asked them to leave and they did.
An hour later, you can hear guests exiting the hotel, slamming doors, and talking loudly. Walls are very thin.
Therefore, we did not sleep great (although the bed was very comfortable).

Keep in mind that you'll want to drive from casino to casino if you stay here. The jitney's seemed unreliable...

JUST MY OPINION!!!

Hotel was very nice and clean. You don't have the convenience of the casinos, but that’s ok you are minutes away from the first casino. Walking distance to the outlets and convention center. Rooms are clean and updated. They don't have that tacky 1970s decor about it like some of the other hotels in AC, COUGH!!! RESORTS!!!. Sorry getting over a cold.
Staff was helpful and accommodating. Don't fall for the Starwood preferred guest thing they offer. I thought we would get a free cocktail hour and breakfast. We did not get JACK! They told me at the front desk that would need x amount of Starwood points to get that. OH Well, still a nice hotel.
Price at the time was cheaper than anything else that weekend. Sometimes it's more expensive depending on the convention.
To sum it all up, nice hotel with decent amenities and reasonable prices for AC. If you are planning to go to AC, don't pass this place up. Just because it doesn't have a casino, doesn't make it a bad place to stay. Remember, AC Taxis are $11 anywhere in AC.

Needed an A/C room at the last minute, called Hotels.com and they put me in at the Sheraton Convention Center.

I was thrilled, halfway between the Marina and the Boardwalk,

It was exceptionally convenient as its right in the middle of a ton of outlets and close enough to walk to the boardwalk. (4 blocks) But being at the convention center there is a ton of 24 hr jitney service also!

Great price, Great convenience, Awsome inside, Its 10 yrs old but you couldn't tell it wasn't new.

Free Computers with internet service in the lobby and AWESOME rooms with a truly unique view of the A/C Skyline.

I couldn't have made a better hotel choice. Give it a try.
