This hotel was shabby and not sound proofed. But the worst thing was that the toilet became clogged when we first arrived. When I called the front desk, the clerk brought down a plunger and said to use it!
The location was very convient.

Great location, 3-5 min walk to boardwalk & across from resorts casino. If you are on a budget and don't mind a worn down motel than you can stay here. Otherwise, pay a little more and stay somewhere else. This place needs a definite upgrade, as the walls in the room are stained and cracked and the carpet is starting to rip in some places. The cont. breakfast is two small boxes of muffins and danishes.

Fair enough it's only a motel and it's pretty budget but I don't really think that's an excuse for a room being so dirty. Had to wipe clean insides of drawers before being happy enough to put clothes in them. The toilet was broken and upon reporting this to reception they handed us a plunger....
Generally felt pretty unsafe as well as unclean and was the most depressng place i'd ever stayed. To put that into perspective, stayed in hostels most of the trip and they were all lovely. On the plus side, great location, less than five mins walk from boardwalk, beach, Resorts & Taj Mahal casinos, and am fully aware it could have been a lot worse. But on the whole definitely wouldn't stay again.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting!!! The rooms were filthy, the carpet was stiff and hard, the beds caused back pain and the bathroom was worse than one at a gas station. The tub was rotted, the drain was clogged and the tiles were dirty that I felt dirtier after the shower. The worst part is that I was not alone...I had plenty of cockroaches to keep me company, it felt like that movie "Joe's Apartment". So needless to say I didn't sleep much. The one good thing is that it was close to the Boardwalk...the problem there is you had to walk through a very unsafe warzone to get there. Everytime I walked from the Casino to the motel, I felt like a sitting duck and felt at any moment I would be attacked, robbed, or abused. Do Not stay at this place unless your only other alternative is to sleep in the street.
