“jacuzi room is very nice!!! :)”

Quality Inn and Suites Casino City

Sep 3, 2007

i read some bad reviews, but was getting a bit desperate since i was going on labor day weekend but was on a budget. i figured if i asked for their best room, i wouldn't regret it as much. i have to say, i was really surprised by the cleanliness and beauty of the room my husband and i were in! our room had a king sized bed, jacuzi in the room, full bathroom with nice bathtub (for two ;))...it even had a microwave, hair dryer, fireplace (how romantic!), refrigerator and more! for $150 for that room on a holiday weekend, i find it very well worth it~

“Very comfortable friendly stay....................”

I got married in Atlantic City on 7/13/07. At first I had booked a hotel right on the boardwalk one of the more expensive hotels. After most of my guests had booked at this hotel I changed my reservation. We stayed for 6 days and I must say I was very pleased. We had the Jacuzzi suite which was nice and very clean. We had about 9 rooms booked and everyone was happy with the stay. The staff was so friendly and the check in was a breeze with no problems with any reservation. The breakfast is a great addition to the stay. Then pool was great......... very clean........ I was so happy with my stay here and with every thing I had to worry about with the wedding,
the hotel was not. Its the best value for price. The distance to the boardwalk was not bad either. It was walking distance but you have to like to walk, otherwise you can always take the jitneys. Overall the hotel was just what we all needed and when I go back I am staying
here again............

“Clean, Comfortable and CHEAP”

I was really worried after reading all the negative reviews that we made a BIG mistake by booking a room here. However, I was pleasantly surpised - the room was clean, the staff was friendly and the hotel's proximity to the strip was unbeatable for the price we paid ($60 for King through the Choice website). Breakfast was a great added bonus.

If you are looking for a no-frills, comfortable place to stay while you enjoy the city, then definitely consider this hotel. It's obviously not a 4 star hotel, but you aren't paying 4-star prices either.

“Did not feel safe!”

Quality Inn and Suites Casino City

My girlfriend and I thought it would be a good idea to start our visit to Jersey Shore in Atlantic City...not a good idea. We got to the hotel at about 4 in the afternoon and the power was out. As we walk into the room in the sweltering heat (90+ degrees) with no AC, we were more disturbed by the fact that our "kitchenette" was a microwave stacked on top of a mini fridge. Our shower tiles were peeling off and paint was chipping from the walls. Worst of all, our room was located adjacent to the "storage room," where some shady looking employees kept venturing in and out. The pool was out of service the whole time we were there, which ,luckily for us, was only 2 days. The best thing was the continental breakfast, which isn't saying alot.

Bottom line, if I ever go back to Atlantic City, which I highly doubt, I WILL NOT stay here!

“Hotel was totally fine, but a bit far from boardwalk”

We chose the hotel because of its cheap price, so we were a bit nervous (especially after reading the bad reviews), but we ended up having a mostly comfortable 2-night stay. The rooms were clean and functional, if a bit worn in places, and all the basic amenities one would expect were provided (free breakfast, internet access, even a decent outdoor pool).

It did take a while to get our room when we first signed in, and the maid was still cleaning it when we opened the door, but I guess it was because the hotel was quite busy that day -- it was fully booked, even in the middle of the week. Overall no major complaints about the hotel itself, and a very good deal for the price.

The one significant downside of the hotel is the distance from the boardwalk. It's in walking distance, certainly, but the walk takes 10-15 minutes and can be unpleasant when you're tired or the weather is bad (also not very convenient when you're going to the beach and need to go back afterward to change, drop off stuff, etc). The location around the hotel is sort of deserted, but when you walk a couple of blocks toward the beach the neighborhood is noticeably improved.
