“need a week to chill out”

My wife and I have just returned after 1 week at the Radisson SAS and what a fantastic holiday and week of total relaxation . This is our fifth trip to Sharm and this hotel is excellent
We upgraded to a suite on our arrival £40.00 per night and what a bargain .
Suite comprised of Lounge , huge bedroom and Bathroom complimetary room service breakfast every morning , with stunning views of the Red Sea from our private garden area
The Staff from the concierge ,reception , bell boy , room service were all excellent and couldn't do enough to help .
We went B&B and therfore made use of the following restaurants for dinner
Italian a la carte - food very good with attentive staff
French La Brasserie - great food and atmosphere
Egyptian/Middle East quite simply superb try either the fish or meat mix grill you will not believe the experience... fabulous
Trade Winds - Beach location with pick your own fish and the chef grills to your requirements
The Hotel is a bit out from Nanna Bay and Sharks Bay and this is a consideration about £20.00 UK return by taxi
However if you want a week to chill in fantastic surroundings and not go anywhere then I would certainly recommend the Raddisson

Radisson SAS Resort Sharm El Sheikh

hi just got back from raddisson in sharm this hotel is not quite 5star prob 4star but i have to say we had a wonderfull stay there the staff are super and the gardens are some of the best i have ever seen in a hotel the food is ok there is something for everybody all inclusive means you can eat in the main building, if you want to eat italian or seafood there is a supplement to pay but if you are aware of this its ok the hotel is very clean and the staff take pride in this fact the house reef is super and a small walk from the hotel 2 mins the russians seem to dominate this hotel and boy can they eat but english people can be found we had a good stay and enjoyed our holiday

“Shame”

Radisson SAS Resort Sharm El Sheikh

Apr 18, 2008

Totally agree with justmarriedlondon review 7.11.07.
Its such a shame as this hotel could be great, but is let down by the management who allow staff to chat to each other all the time rather that serve, clean, maintain etc.
Do not go either HB or FB or worst All inclusive as we did as you will end up going out or eating in the A la carte restaurants just to get freshly cooked food, not food that was all cooked before the siting started and which you might be eating 3-4 hrs later.
Breakfasts are fine however because eggs/pancakes are cooked on the spot., although getting coffee or tea, which is served by waiting staff, can be very long winded as they do like to chat to each other and look busy!
All inclusive guests are treated to undrinkable wine, flat soft drinks and unrecognisable sprits.
Cracked / missing floor tiles, broken light fitments and room doors that are battered and buised need to repared /replaced as they give the whole place a tired feel.

Just had to inform all that the pools were the best i have ever been in. When you walk to the end of the garden and get into the last pool it is the most relaxing expeirence ever. rooms were excellant and the food and service were brilliant. word of advict the alcohol is exspensive and the measures are small. there is an off-licinse in nama bay.

“Great hotel - great holiday !”

Went to the Golden Resort, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in October 2005 and had a great time and the weather was great every day. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very nicely laid out and even though we went during Ramadan we took full advantage of the all-inclusive alcohol! The rooms were clean and spacious and had a luxurious feel to them. The food was also very good for an all inclusive, buffet style with lots of choice and differing menus every night. We went into Sharm El Sheikh one evening but were not that impressed, spent most nights in the hotel where it felt much safer. We also used the facilities of the 5* sister hotel across the road - there are a choice of 3 restaurants but they are not part of the all-inclusive price but are still very reasonably priced - just be aware of the prices for the wine! As its imported we ended up paying near £50 for a mediocre bottle! There is also a small private beach that you can use which has great views and was all very relaxed - the bar people were very friendly and they couldnt do enough for you! The pools were stunning and kept very nice and the gardens too were well maintained, with nice little bridges and most importantly . . plenty of sunbeds! We took a trip to Cairo to see the pyramids. Cairo seems quite run down and there were lots of people begging etc so you have to keep your wits about you but the sights were very interesting and I would recommend the excursion to the museum too, it usually comes as a package with the Pyramids and the Sphinx. The pyramids were great and you dont realise how big they are, but be aware if you suffer from chlausterphobia as it may not be a good idea that you venture into the Pyramid, and theres not a great deal to see anyway! Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday :)
