You can trust Ron Hall and his son. The pearls appraised for $24,000, yet we paid approximately $22,000. I asked the appraiser to be as conservative as possible, which is what he did. Comparable pearls in Los Angeles are much more costly than $24,000 at a high end retail jeweler.

We visited all the other pearl shops in Moorea and other islands. You will not get better value than Ron Hall’s, assuming you want estate quality pearls.
