My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Conrad Bali and the resort itself exceeded our expectations. Like many Conrad hotels, the lobby has a muti-story entrance hall with a magnificent view of the hotel pool and beach. We had a lovely room that faced the ocean. The design of the room was very modern and fresh including a glass panel between the bathroom and hotel room.

We ordered room service one morning and they were prompt and the food was pretty good (we had eggs benedict).

We were able to access the internet from our computers for free in the hotel lobby. If you wanted access from your room, the charge was unfairly high for Bali, about $30 USD per day.

The hotel pools are absolutely gorgeous - some of the most beautiful that I've ever seen. There is a central infinity pool and several separate pools.

They offer a range of activities for guests from biking to surfing. I tried the yoga and it was very basic, which is to be expected from a resort. They charged about $10 USD for the class. The best part was the setting. They conducted the class outside in the hotel water garden.

In all, this resort is perfect for a few days of relaxation. Nusa Dua is very resort-like, but it is a lovely, relaxing, wonderful place for vacation.

Stayed 10 nights in Conrad in sept 2007. Loved every second. Been to some other hotels in Bali and they just do not get even close to what Conrad is. Recommend to everyone.. Just amazing hotel

Well designed complex, great pool and lovely rooms. Staff helpful and friendly although concierge clueless (use a guidebook as more accurate). Only real negative is little in the area to walk to - Seminyak/Legian offers a lot more if you fancy a wander. Overall a lovely holiday (spent 8 days there) but you could be anywhere.

Stayed here for our honeymoon. Got upgraded to the pool access room. It has the best bed and pillows of all the hotels we stayed with (intercon, elysian, hard rock). Very very comfy with the luxurious 1000 thread count cover. And also the best room, great attention to detail, although the TV is getting outdated. The spa is also very nice.

The beach is very average, nothing compared to the beach of jimbaran. The surrounding area is very quiet, with nothing much going on. Try Bumbu Desa down the road, it serve authentic balinese food. Another must try is the new Tratorria at Jimbaran. They serve amazing italian food, with great atmosphere at a budget price!
