The outstanding service started from the pick up at the airport with a cool face towel and bottle of water - absolutely needed in the humidity! I cannot describe the level of service except to say it was so outstanding I felt like royalty! All staff knew every guests name, where they were from etc etc

Should mention that the hotel is still under construction and will probably be for another month at least as they are building a two storey spa building! Wireless internet is free, big bonus, and they also have a business centre with conference room on site.

The villa was beautifully decorated with lots of funky leather and Victorian style furniture. From the private pool to the massage sala to the outdoor shower, everything about the villa was sensual and well thought out.

Upon arrival we were offered a complimentary three course dinner and 20 massage, which we gratefully accepted! You can also flick though their extensive 'private dinner menu' which can be taken in your own villa (in fact we ate all but one meal at the villa dining table) which can come with a musician who will play the gammalan during dinner.

The hotel is not in Ubud centre but they do offer a shuttle bus for free five times a day. The other thing I noticed was that if you went to Kuta or Jimbaran, no one actually had heard of the Hotel which meant getting back by taxi was slightly difficult. I would suggest finding a taxi driver in Ubud and bargaining for a day price, and getting them to drop you back to the Hotel.

The highlight was getting upgraded to the new Lagoon Villas which officially open in June and I would HIGHLY recommend staying in them. Ultra Modern, private lagoon pool which is walled but opens onto a spring water Olympic size swimming pool. Check out my photos!

I cannot urge you enough to try Furama Villas and Spa yourself, you will not regret it one bit!

We loved the villas and service. Staff charming and eager to please. Breakfasts great. And this is while the hotel is being renovated-it wiuld be even better when finished. A fair way out of town bu shuttle service good

We stayed Furama for one weeks time, only a few days ago. It was so amazing...If you go in a month or two it will be even more amazing, they are in the process of construction and they will soon be complete, and this includes a beautiful new spa and restaurant. The construction did not hinder out stay at all, they had us tucked away in an amazing villa at the back of the compound. We heard nothing. The villas were a real treat for us, they are totally private and beautifully decorated, complete with your own pool. No clothes needed!!! (Just for room service!) We ate each meal in the privacy of our own yard. It was the best honeymoon destination. They decorated our villa with flowers and petals for our arrival after our wedding, it was so nice. The food and STAFF WAS AMAZING. We were blown away with kindness. We could not even begin to tell you how great they were. Very clean. The free shuttle in to Ubud was practical, we were happy with the location. Try the cooking class. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking to be pampered!!

the furama villas as a stand alone place to stay was a lovely place. the staff where really great and the villas very beautiful.

the sign post in the street out the front only indicates the turn off to the hotel on one side of the sign. therefore if you are comming from the unfortuante side that is not sign posted then you will drive straight past it.

also it is at least a 20 minute drive from ubud town itself and this coupled with the lack of signs made visiting the area a little more difficult
