We booked a 2 deluxe queen at about 40,000 yen on a website, we all regretted staying here as soon as we arrived. The front desk was not crowded at the time but we had to wait for 20 minutes without any words of apology from the sullen staff. When we finally reached to upstairs the connecting door was locked, the porter who went down to look for keys made us wait for another 40 minutes! We called to the front desk repeatedly but that was absolutely no use. And again, there was no apologies, he wasn't with a fake smile even. . .something impossible to experience in this country! The rooms and the restaurants were below the Hilton standard, all the staff we met were crappy, therefore we came to the conclusion that never to stay here again.

I stayed Hilton Narita on 29/April as my first stay. I heard Hilton is the best hotel in Narita area.
Facilities are all rennovated and room was fine. but bathroom had a strong smell of mixture of urine and humidity. I felt very sorry because all of staff were so kind and friendly. It looks somekind of mismatch between service and maintenance.

I stayed here for one night in March 2008. I had an early morning departure, so I chose to stay at the airport hotel instead of getting up earlier in the morning.

Well, I guess in retrospect I might not have done that, particularly since I was staying at the Royal Park Hotel the night before (right next to the Tokyo City Air Terminal) and could have gotten up a little earlier to get over to Narita.

I think the overall experience was good - I checked in, the hotel got me a nice room (and a brownie, surprisingly, in recognition of my being a diamond Hilton member) and enjoyed to spaciousness of it in Japan. Perhaps my room was different, but I thought the bed was extremely comfortable and had no problems with the blanket (more European style with just a duvet cover). I had to work the evening I arrived, and had no problems with the internet connection. The Hilton breakfast the next morning was great.

The dinner at the Japanese restaurant was fine but not exactly cheap (I had the unagi set dinner and it must have set me back $25-30). There used to be 2 Japanese restaurants (one was an izakaya) but the second one shut down, presumably due to lack of demand. There is an am/pm convenience store in the hotel if you choose to be more frugal, and I thought that was a nice touch given the usual lack of choice at an airport hotel.

Hotel is about average. Nice breakfast but the room was sliglhty smelly there were not enough toiletries.
Really disappointing that pool and gym were not free (at least for me) which was not indicated when I booked.
Restaurant service in the evening was poor (food good but not cheap). Friendly staff arranged the shipment of a diary that I had forgotten in the room (thank you!).
