Stayed here for 1 night while stranded due to my connection being cancelled till next day. Had to pay "rack" rate of 17000 rub. (680 $us approx) as the town was very busy for some reason. Public areas typical of SAS everywhere, room was nice but NOT $680 nice if you know what I mean. I also got stranded 1 more night but stayed at the president hotel the next night, (14000 rub) which was much better and lless expensive. If I had to stay again then the SAS would not be my 1st choice!!

on the whole a good experience at this hotel. very spacious, excellent facilities- if your budget allows it- some botique's, cinema and a club. apparently some famous people have stayed there. i have to say, its one of the nicer hotels that i've stayed at. didn't eat there- but it does have restaurants. about 10 mins walk to edge of town but 10 mins taxi ride to red sq. has some local shops and train station within 2 mins walk but we taxied it every where.

Stayed at the hotel for business (1 day).

Location: Reasonable central, short distance to subway I think (never use them in Moscow). 2 km from the “new” center.

Hotel: The building is nice, looks very international/business like.

Guests: Many business, rather international as you’d expect from SAS.

Public areas: Nice, very commercial. Lots of shops and restaurants inside the building.
Good elevator system, not secured, average looking hallways that are reasonably clean.

Distances: OK. Reception to my room, 4 min.

Staff: Professional, nice, good english (advice: think of retrieving your passport again before you leave the hotel, even for a walk!)

Room: Upper floor overlooking the river. They call it “business class”, I think the price was around 500 EUR/night!
Rooms are a bit dark. Dated decor, but I haven’t seen nice rooms in Moscow (Swissotel was sold out, Hilton not open yet.. I still have hope).

Noise level ok, Bathroom ok (bath/shower) and clean.
Light and airco ok.

Bed: Good size, nice sheets, reasonably comfortable.

Breakfast is very good, much better than some other Moscow hotels.

OK business hotel, same as Radissons everywhere more or less. Rooms
are small compared to bit pricier biz hotels. Certainly OK place to do a night or two. Would get boring to stay longer. Pluses are good choice of cafes and restaurants in same building, also a casino but did not try it, next door to Kieskaya metro station which also has Circle line so easy to move around fast (eg to Domod''vo the airport via metro and airport express just 1hr, compared to often a 2 hr car ride if in some other hotels). 2 out of 3 service requests worked perfectly, one was missed (but they did realise it and called back to
check, so was probably just miss by a busy individual). Will not hesitate to stay again, but not a destination hotel, and will not want to stay for say a week.
