We chose this hotel because:
a) we wanted a serviced apartment hotel in the Makati area
b) all other comparable properties - like Fraser place or even the other two Somersets - Olympia and Millenium were not available for booking at the time.

Here are the problems we faced in our stay:
1. The rooms look nothing like the pictures on their website.
2. The kitchen area is really small and congested
3. Utensils provided are of inferior standard and cannot withstand any proper cooking
4. Breakfast spread is very limited, severely lacking any variety. If you happen to be vegetarian (like us) - there absolutely no options
5. There are only two lifts in the whole building - one of which is always under some repair. There is no service elevator for the staff - so the only available lift too is always full of housekeeping people and the things that they have to carry from floor to floor.
6. The Gym and the common area is a joke. The pool is indoors, only 4 feet deep at any point and is simply unusable. Their jacuzzi never works.
7. Drinking water is a major problem. The hotel does not provide any regular drinking water - and the brochure says you are not to use the water from the kitchen for drinking or cooking. So if you are a long staying guest (like us) - you necessarily have to purchase all your water for cooking and drinking needs from outside. (Which can prove very expensive).
8. The hotel does provide a water dispenser and a five gallon bottle at a cost - however they dont have enough dispensers for everyone !!
9. Half the rooms are in some state of repair - and some rooms have missing furniture - "which has been sent out for repair".
10. Cleanliness on part of the housekeeping staff is questionable - there was a huge centipede in my living room one day after my room had been serviced, even though we are on the 26th floor.
11. There is absolutely nothing of interest in the area. The hotel building is in the midst of a concrete jungle. There is no good view from any room.

In a nutshell - the service and other facilities here are severely lacking for what the kind of price they charge. (approx $3000 US dollars a month for a one bedroom premier apartment).

I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone - unless there is absolutely no other option.
