“Loved the spacious immaculate Arlington Residence Court”

Arlington Residence Court

Jun 30, 2008

My sister had booked the Arlington Residence Court from the many points that she has accumulated through her work. We were on the 7th floor and stayed in a suite. We were there for my youngest son's graduation from Georgetown. The Hotel is near the Metro stop and very convenient to Washiongton. The living room kitchen was very spacious. The breakfast was 4 star - pancakes or french toast wonderful eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits and coffee excellent coffee. I am an early riser and I moved the desk chair onto the balcony and in the cool of the morning watched the dawn and read my Bible - more than wonderful. Thank you for such a great stay!

“Great Stay in DC”

Arlington Residence Court

4 of 5 stars
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Jun 23, 2008

My friends and I spent two nights at the Arlington Residence Court on June 20-22. It was a TERIFFIC stay. The room was a queen suite (complete kitchenette, full size fride) for 135.00 per night and 12.00 per night parking. The hotel was .3 of a mile from the metro (court house stop). The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. Breakfast over our stay included: pancakes, french toast, sausauge, bacon, eggs, potatoes, cereal, and bagels. The fitness room was not used in our stay.
The area seemed nice. We ate at Summers resturant which was ok. It was reasonable. There is a movie theatre closeby, and other resturants (Wendy's for fast food). There are a few bars in the neighborhood. Ragtime was busy as we walked by, and Kitty O'Sheas was a place we requented. A CVS is closeby for any forgotten items or other supplies you may need for your stay.
I would DEFINATELY stay here again. I thought the hotel was great. I liked the fact there were things closeby for eating and relaxing after a long day of sight-seeing. We also took in a Washington Nationals game at their new park. Eat before hand as they are building places around the park, but otherwise there is NOTHING there. Definately a good time.

“Nice place clase in to D.C.”

Wow the prices of Washington, DC area hotels have gone up. One night business trip with a government rate was $201. Check in was smooth, parking cost $12/night. The room was large and clean. A kitchenette with full size refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave was available. Fitness center was nicer than most. My only real complaint was that the room decor was in dark colors and the lighting was pretty anemic so it was hard to work. High Speed internet was so-so I had several drop outs depending on where i was sitting. This hotel serves what they call a light dinner up on the 8th floor, which is complimentary – this night it was ginger pork, tossed salad, rolls, and potatoes – nice to save a few bucks on dinner!!!!! Breakfast is the same way 2 hot meats and the usual assortment of rolls and fruit. Took an evening walk over to the Marine Corp memorial – which looks out over the capitol and Washington Monument (across the river). I would definitely stay here again.

“Yes, this was a deal and we would return!”

Arlington Residence Court

The location was excellent. The neighborhood is safe and pleasant. The orange line to DC is accessible, swift and easy to ride. The breakfast was generous with hot and cold options: pancakes or french toast; grits or oatmeal; sausage or bacon; always offered were potatoes, yogurt, cold cereals, bagels, muffins, toast, beverages. Light supper: we did 2/3 and got poached salmon and rice pilaf with zucchini one night and penne pasta with chicken and beans and asparagus the next night. Aways offered were rolls, salad, beverages, including soft drinks and wine for purchase. Dining room has a nice view of the Washington Memorial and Capitol building in the distance. The dresser drawers, desk top, some counters and refrigerator handles needed wiping. But I always bring my hand sanitizer to do these things, especially the remote, in every hotel. Check in staff and dining staff were curt and efficient. Check out staff, housekeeping, and other management encountered were kind and friendly. We paid $127 a night through AAA and this was a huge savings from other offers I've seen. I asked for a NON-pet friendly room. Whole Foods is just a brief walk away. We stayed 7 nights and we would definitely recommend this.

“It was perfect for our needs”

Arlington Residence Court

Mar 17, 2008

We had a 3 bedroom suite for 4 days (we were in town for a memorial and interment at Arlington Cemetary of our father who was a hero in WWII). The rooms were very fresh, they must have been re-done very recently. Everything was very clean. Hotel is very convenient to everything, including a 3 block walk (albeit up a very steep hill) to the Metro that takes us to key points in Washington. We will stay there in future trips.
