The bungalows are per the website, quite big, clean, quiet but basic. There is only one beach front bungalow, 2 have some views to the lagoon and the other ones are back in the garden.
The bar was closed when we stayed there and there wasn't much going on as it was low season and it gave a little bit a feeling of run-down ( actually don't go there if you want to party). You can walk to closeby samade or boat shed to go to restaurants but there is no stores around. The closest one is maybe 2 kms away so you will have to consider renting a scooter (available next door with ranguinis, book ahead if you go in high season july-sep) .
The beach is ok but not for small children as it is deep, the water was very hot but was kind of white, don't know why. There are some kayaks for renting for 10$ .
At the end I think for the price it is a good value. If you go to aitutaki for more than few days, I would recommend to split your stay between this side of the island and the west coast.
