We had a great time at the Konak Melsa becasue of the fabulous pool and lovely bar staff, esp young Robbie who couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. The rooms were on the small side but were clean. However, the woman who runs the hotel is quite difficult. She tried to chagre us for the week's AC three times as she doesn't keep track of any money given to her, and she can be very pushy in terms of tryign to get you to go on excursions. She never once apologised for the lack of hot water in the morning or the black fur on the butter which comes with the free breakfast- she replace it with slightly less out of date butter! Despite this we did enjoy our time and would recommend this hotel as it is clean and safe- but only at the right price!
