“Perfect as always”

Spent 3 nights at Four Seasons before heading off to Antarctica in December. The room (Jr Suite) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful but the concierge service was most excellent. I needed an urgent dental treatment on Sunday and they
arranged everything within 10 minutes! The concierge had also arranged
everything for us -ferry tickets to Colonia, restaurant booking and city tour - before we arrived so we didn't need to do anything on arrival. You can NEVER go wrong with Four Seasons. If we ever go back to Buenos Aires (which we will do, on our way to Antarctica) in the future, we will definitely stay there again.

“A haven in a busy city....”

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

I am writing this review while still at the F.S. Buenos Aires (while waiting to leave to the airport). I don't want to leave without writing a review for both Buenos Aires and Carmelo F.S.

We have traveled to various places during our trip to South America and stayed at very nice hotels (Hotel Monasterio, Sanctuary Lodge, etc.) However, none of these hotels do what the Four Seasons is able to do.

The Four Seasons Buenos Aires is in a very posh area of Buenos Aires. As a city, Buenos Aires, is a very cool city to visit. Out of all the places that we traveled to Argentina is the country that I would return to. The F.S. is a busy hotel, being that it is in a large city. However, the front desk do a good job of managing all the people coming in and the concierge is very good at making recommendations. We tried room service, breakfast, and brunch and everything was delicious! However, the food outside the hotel is considerably cheaper since the dollar gets you a lot more in Argentina than it would in the U.S. For example, at a place callled La Continental (across the famous cemetary) you can buy three delicious empanadas, three slices of pizzas and two drinks for $8! At the F.S. a plate with three (also delicious empanadas) will cost you $14.

The room we booked was very spacious. Nice view to the street and since we were here during New Years we were able to see fireworks. Caution: NOTHING here is open on Jan. 1st. They dont have the big New Years shopping.

Overall, for a city hotel the F.S. was a beautiful place to stay. Very close to everything. Alvear Palace and the Park Hyatt were also very close to the hotel, but neither one even comes close to the F.S!

“Best in BA”

Best hotel in the city, best deals are on four seasons website. This hotel has the best hotel swimming pool in BA which makes it resort like. Service top class, rooms top class, food top class, location top class. Other 5 Star hotels may be slighly cheaper but the Four Seasons is worth the premium. I stay in hotels all over Europe/US with work, never expected this type of hotel in Sth America. Book it. See picture attached of pool area.

“Really good”

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

5 of 5 stars
London

We stayed at both the Alvear and Four Seasons in Buenos Aires – if you are choosing between then, the Four Seasons is the definite pick.

For anyone who has stayed at Four Seasons, the set up is familiar. Absolutely excellent service, well maintained etc. Overall, I would say it is better than the average Four Seasons. Location is great. Pool area is beautiful and a perfect escape in summer. Spa is good (I had one massage of a high standard). Food in the hotel is also great. Rooms are excellent – particularly the deluxe premier which would pass for a junior suite in most hotels. Some reviews have suggested that the Four Seasons in bland - could be anywhere. I felt that the mansion which forms part of it is stunningly beautiful and creates something very different.

Downsides – some of the extras are ridiculously priced. The concierge wanted almost $300 for babsitting 3 sleeping children for 4 hours (they have a rule that 3 children need 2 babysitters). A hotel car to the airport costs around $95 - 4 times the price of a taxi. But this is perhaps normal for the type of hotel (although I still find the babysitting extreme) – it is strange considering that other things in the hotel (food, spa treatments etc) are very fairly priced.

Will go back on my next visit (and I certainly won’t return to the Alvear).

“Fabulous Hotel! The best in Buenos Aires!”

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

Just returned from the Four Seasons Buenos Aires. Stayed for 8 nights. The staff is amazing! Every employee at the hotel including Concierges, housekeeping, front doormen, restaurant staff, lounge staff, business center staff, front desk - were all incredible!
They address you by your name and always had smiles on their faces.
Their attitude was fabulous! We have traveled all over the world- staying at the finest hotels and I would have to say that the employees of this hotel were the best we have ever experienced. Everyone would ask," What else can we do for you?"

Had breakfast included in rate. The buffet was great. Pastries were wonderful! Great service at breakfast.

The rooms were lovely. Great bathrooms.

The concierges gave great recommendations for restaurants, shopping and tours. You can e-mail them in advance of your stay and they will handle all your restaurant reservations, tours etc.

The location is great- in Recoleta area.

One of the managers called our room to ask "how was our stay?"

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with impeccable service, then the Four Seasons is the hotel for you!
