Into the hands of an International Group Hotel. Welcomed by the queuing ropes at reception, the well presented, if slightly clueless, receptionists and its a full page of paper, credit card imprint and sent off to some room away in the hotel without a guide.
For four days at breakfast the toaster didn't work and despite bringing it to the attention of the restaurant manager on day1 and the duty managers on day 2 & 3 nothing got repaired and no alternative solution was laid on.
Obviously 'maintenace' don't work at the weekend and no-one had the initiative to arrange for the waiters to get toast from the kitchen.
Flat, dead and 'following the rules' is how you would describe the service.
Left with the feeling that I could have been in a hotel anywhere in the world, not in one of its most vibrant, friendly cities. Ideal for the traveller who doesn't like travelling.

I've stayed at many Hilton Hotels, but this is one of the best! Located in Puerto Madero, the home to some of BA's finest restaurants.

Modern hotel with large rooms. Service was well above average. Stay on one of the Executive Floors: Private check-in and check -out on 8th floor, complimentry breakfast and cocktail hour.

Spent a week at the Hilton on business.
Everything was of a very gih standard. Large rooms with nice bathrooms, nice breakfast, fast Internet connection, good business facilities.

Location is also great within the safe and recently popular Puerto Madero area. The famous Cabalas Las Lillas restaurant is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

Would definitely stay again at the hotel, although I heard there is a 6 star St. Regis hotel being prepared within the next few years two blocks away.

We loved our stay at the Hilton Buenos Aires!

We stayed at this hotel twice during our recent trip to Argentina. My husband and I were in Buenos Aires for our second wedding reception and had to come back the next weekend for a family member's birthday party. We traveled in Argentina during the week.

Although, the hotel was booked to capacity both weekends, we never felt cramped, forgotten about or crowded! My husband and I are Hilton Honors members and were upgraded to the executive upon our arrival. My mom and aunt were also staying at the Hilton. They did not get upgraded to an executive floor but were given priveledges because of their status. When we compared rooms, they all looked the same so it seemed that it didn't really matter what floor we were on! The beds were comfortable, the room was neat and clean. The bathrooms were a great size!

The hotel is in a great location. It is in Puerto Madero. An easy walk to "the pink house" and Florida ave for some shopping. For areas a bit further away, hopping in a cab is no problem and extremely inexpensive so don't fret!! It is about 15 pesos (or 5USD) to get to La Recoleta in a taxi (depending on the time of day) but walking BA is much better!

Because we traveled during the week within Argentina, the Hilton let us stow our luggage for a few days free of charge. Again, we had executive room priveledges when they couldn't upgrade us during our second stay.

The pool is small but a great area. You can pick up some towels (and a mat) in the Spa. The loungers are also great and comfortable. The only Spa services I used was for a pedicure. It was completely overpriced for Buenos Aires but reasonable for a hotel. The Pedicure itself was just OK and I probably wouldn't take one there again.

When we aren't staying with family in Buenos Aires, we will defitely stay at the Hilton again. It was wonderful!!
