My fiance and I stayed at the Moreno for three nights and found the hotel staff to be very friendly but there was a lot of miscommunication. I think there are some "kinks" to be worked out. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern but if your going to stay at the Moreno to rest....forget about it! The beds were not comfortable and we don't recommend staying in room #16, #14, and #18 which are all first floor rooms. The street noise is LOUD!!! It is hard to sleep at 3 in the morning with loud car noises. Also, it would have been nice to have the option of room service especially on the first day of arrival. We were so tired! We were informed that restaurants don't open until 8:30 pm which we already were aware of as we are very well traveled but were looking for something quick on the first day. There weren't many options for food on the block...I will have the say the hotel is asthetically beautiful and whoever decorated did a great job.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff are super friendly. The hotel we were staying at in BA beforehand failed to tell us that the clocks would be put back. We checked out an hour early and turned up at Hotel Moreno at 11:30am. They couldn't have been nicer. Its a good location and will be further improved when the other bar etc facilities open. The rooms are very big. An excellent choice for BA.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. Arrived after a long flight from Australia and the guys couldn't be more helpful!
Our room was huge by current hotel standards and we had the added bonus of a terrace - a couple of chairs to sit on would have been nice. There was a kitchen sink and fridge which could be useful.
Decor was very modern with a fantastic shower - no bath. Cold breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace, very pleasant, and was more than adequate.
There is still no theatre, restaurant or room service but they will call out for food for you.
The staff even wished me Happy Birthday!
The location was also great - easy walking distance to Plaza Mayo and 15 - 20 minutes to Oblisco. San Telmo on Sunday was buzzing - Samba bands and tango in the streets what a welcome to BA

I liked the hotel. Apparently a restaurant and theatre are going to be opening soon, which should make the hotel more complete. The hotel now has a very good mixture of on the one hand clean, modern, spacious rooms, and on the other hand it is charming and pleasant, a place to feel at home at. Next time I go to Buenos Aires, I will use this one again.
