I just got back from Samoa and LOVED Tanu Beach Fales in Savaii. The beach was gorgeous and swept clean everyday. The staff was very welcoming and made you feel right at home. For 50 tala a day, you get the fale and 2 meals. What a bargain. If you're carrying anything with you that's valuable, the staff will keep it locked up in the office. I felt very safe there. The fales were beautiful and the view out to the beach was amazing. Watching the sunrise in the morning while waking up is unreal. I definitely recommend this place. Stay longer for a day and hire a taxi cab to take you around the island. There's plenty to do. The pictures you take look like postcards.

Lovely peaceful place with Fales right on the water's edge.White clean sandy beach fringed with Palm trees. Beach swept clean of debris each morning by staff. Stunning sunrises and sunsets from your fale.Basic accomodation with just a mattress, pillows and 2 sheets, mozzie net and light supplied, but somehow this is all you need. Breakfast and dinner included in modest price with all eating done communally at a long open air dining table where you are waited on by village staff.This is a family owned and operated business.No transport necessary. They will organise transfers to the ferry and take you on tours of the Island.Nice sea for snorkelling.

BEWARE: We had our wallet and all our money stolen in the middle of the night. Don't leave valuables in your fale.
We highly recommend the place otherwise.
