We had lunch at Rene on the patio. The setting is delightful. Tlaquepaque is such a lovely place to shop, stroll about in or just sit and listen to Oak Creek. Unfortunately, the road construction going on makes it a tad difficult to get in and out of.
The restaurant and service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had the Monte Cristo sandwich which was cooked to perfection; the Gazpacho and BLT with smoked applewood bacon. All was totally enjoyed. The menu offers a nice variey of salads as well as sandwiches and daily specials. Very nice and priced reasonably.
