We came higly recommended to Sagewater by another Spa resort in the area. In reading all the reviews from notable press, and magazaine articles that featured Sagewater, it is every bit true and genuine! We were greeted by Christine and Rhoni with hugs and smiles! And the mascot, Sage~ a rambuncious Schnauzer joined in giving a few sniffs and leg snuggles!
We found the facility to be very secure and private. You need a key to get through the entry door. Lots of beautiful mountain views! We were lucky to see snow! We loved the room and all its simplicity~ don't expect this place to look like the Ritz, Marriott, or other big name brand hotels, if you do this is not the place for you. Sagewater boasts a clean, streamlined, comfy room. Cracks in the warm concrete pleasantly reflect its 1959 Circa.
The small kitchinette has all the necessities of home! Including a large pitcher full of cold water with cucumber slices! It's great to only share the pool, BBQ, with 6 neighbors not 200, and to smelly carpets or hallways. The bed is great with a nice firm mattress and to-die-for linen and make you feel rested in the morning. I cannot say enough for the Sagewater, except thank you for a wonderful stay!
