So we arrived at 8pm WITH a reservation. After discovering our "reserved" room was on the Hwy 41 side of the hotel, I asked Ting, the front desk person, to change our room to a quieter place of the hotel and Ting told me that their hotel was full to capacity and the only room left was on the west side of the hotel, third floor.
We entered our room and the air-conditioner rattled like a hamster was running on its exercise wheel; sleep would be impossible. Upon returning to the front desk, we were moved to another room (wasn't this hotel full to capacity?)
Before our arrival, I contacted Melissa by telephone and requested a microwave, but Ting could not find my request and had to re-request it upon our arrival. Frederick rolled a dirty microwave and delapidated refrigerator on a dolly into our room and plugged it into the corner. Were we really staying at a Courtyard Marriott?
Guests were running up and down the halls, making frivolous racket and slamming doors late into the night.
The interior walls are paper-thin, everytime someone shut their room entrydoor, the entire hallway wall would shake and vibrate, so if you tried to sleep in the morning, you were constantly awakened by exiting quests.
There weren't enough towels in the bathroom, one tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner, two small bars of soap.
The nicest quality of this hotel was the brand new carpeting, California King bed and "free" breakfast in the morning.
If you're tired and weary and need some peace and quiet, don't stay here.
