Our soccer team stayed here for a Fresno based Soccer Tournament- the fields were in South Fresno, this hotel was about 20 minutes away, all freeway. The plus was that it was clean, offered a team room for us to play cards and have dinner in, and the staff was very efficient and courteous. They have a great indoor pool (bigger than I expected) and spa. Not worth the extra money to stay in a "King Spa" suite as it just means the bathroom is bigger (hence the room is smaller). Excellent access to a zillion restaurants, Costco (behind the hotel!), and Big 5 Sports where we were able to replace a forgotten pair of cleats. Definitely recc'd for families. We'd stay again.

This is a good place to stay for the money. The rooms are very clean and fairly well maintain. The shower is awesome (very hot and good pressure) There is nothing spectacular about the property but it is freeway close with great choices for dining nearby on Blackstone. Great place to stop on the way to or from Yosemite. Free wireless Internet is a plus as I am writing this while sitting in my room. You can not go wrong with this place.

The room was perfect and immaculate. New black refigerator and microwave--spotless. I stayed two nights. It was $91 per night, with discount, but worth it. The hotel is new, people are friendly, polite, and helpful. It's very close to RiverPark shopping. The neighborhood is a little industrial for my liking, but seemed safe; however, I woudn't walk around there at night, at two big intersections, Herndon near Blackstone.

We (me, wife, teenager) have stayed at the Comfort Suites three times in 2005 while visiting relatives in Fresno. There is nothing special about the place but it's clean and the staff is polite. It's a fairly new property so everything works. It has a good-sized pool although we have never used it. The breakfast is typical for this class of hotel - a few bulk cereals, bagels, do-it-yourself waffles, and beverages.

I have booked online (through tripadvisor) and only had one problem: on our last visit, I requested a room change from a queen to two doubles and when they made the change, they shifted the room rate from my AARP rate to the rack rate so instead of a $10 adder it turned out to be a $30 adder.

There really aren't many decent places to stay in north Fresno so we will probably stay at the Comfort Suites again but I'll be more alert to sharp practices.
