By far this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It is like a lodge/winery. It is very beautiful. The lobby is elegant and very appealing. The staff were extra friendly. Our rooms were very well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel is situated on a river, the patio and outside terrace is on the rivers edge. Your rate includes breakfast, you can eat outside and enjoy the view. It is in town. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I stayed at the River Terrace Inn, Napa, for 5 nights in June 2008.
The hotel was very clean and the room and bathroom spacious. The staff were friendly.
We took advantage of the free buffet breakfast which consisted of fruit, cereal, pastries, eggs and ham along with tea/coffee, juice etc... We ate on the outside terrace which was a nice way to start the day.
We had considered spending extra on a river view room with balcony but I don't think the extra money would have been worth it because our room was really nice.
We used the pool a couple of times and found it clean and tidy.
The only critisism I would have of the hotel is that they only served wine and beer at the bar.
All around, a very good hotel - worth the money - you get what you pay for.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the River Terrace Inn over Memorial Day Weekend. It was our first time to Napa and after much research, I decided on the RIver Terrace Inn because the price was reasonable and it looked great. The pictures do not lie!
The hotel has the perfect balance of modern yet Napa Valley charm. The rooms are spacious and our room included a balcony. The bathrooms are very luxurious and the room includes 2 refridgeraters and flat screen TV.
The hotel itself is lovely. The lobby is warm and inviting which lends itself to a great bar and seating area next to the fireplace.
There is a room attached that has tables for breakfast, etc.
The outside seating area is the best- it over looks the river, has a fire pit and we ate breakfast out there all three of our days spent here. And the breakfast! It's delicious and you can eat as much as you want. The scrambled eggs with sundried tomatos were my favorite. The muffins were also very fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to utilize the outdoor pool but it's a perfect size for hotel and looked very clean.
The service at hotel was also very good. The staff is fairly young, but they do try to accomodate you from organizing wine tours, restaurant reservations, etc.
I can't wait to go back!

Room was good. Spacious and clean. Bathroom was likewise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again.
