This is a great example of a highly stylized boutique style hotel. It has very unique decor and the rooms are very tastefully decorated...every little detail has been designed. If you appreciate design (and have fairly modern tastes), you'll appreciate The Mod Resort.

The resort grounds are great...there are lots of places to sit down and relax, chat, be romantic, etc. outside. The pool and jacuzzi were both clean/classy. The staff was very cheery and helpful.

If your planning a party this is the ideal place, weather you rent a few rooms or the entire resort, you won't be disappointed.

I spent the week in Palm Desert while on a trip for work and stayed at the MOD Resort. I found myself around beautiful views, great people and an awesome hotel. It really felt like going home after a long day. I would recommend a stay here to anyone that wants to stay in a great location in one of the coolest areas in the country.

I stayed at The Mod Resort for two nights and it was an excellent experience. The room was fantastic and very comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone. It is very quiet, the grounds are beautiful and a few blocks from the greatest shopping in the Desert. So much more relaxed than the big resorts and hotels.

The Mod Resort is THE place to stay in Palm Desert. It is conveniently located near El Paseo shopping and restaurants. The owner, Laura, is attentive, helpful and wonderful beyond words. The rooms are beautiful and up to date. The grounds are peaceful with tall palm trees and the pool and spa. We will be back.
