“Great value and location in downtown Denver”

Magnolia Hotel Denver

5 of 5 stars
Fairfax, Virginia
Jun 21, 2008

Our stay at the Magnolia was just what I expected. I have stayed at the Magnolia in Houston before, so had a good idea what to expect, and the Denver location did not disappoint. Given the quality of the facility (which is not luxurious, but certainly better than just about any other hotel at this price) and the great downtown location, you would normally expect to pay more. That's why I rate the Magnolia as "excellent." You can find a nicer, more luxurious hotel, but it will certainly be much more expensive. In my experience, the Magnolias are priced about the same as a Hampton Inn, but offer a much nicer experience for the money.

Great, friendly service, a clean room and generous breakfast buffet only add to the experience.

“Good place for LODO/ 16th street location”

Magnolia Hotel Denver

Jun 18, 2008

Stayed here for 2 nights Memorial day weekend. I booked online with the free suite upgrade. Wow, bedroom w/king and walk in closet, dining area, living area, and full kitchen for $130 a night. Everything was very clean, staff @ check in was nice. Nicely decorated downstairs with a more than adequate continental breakfast. Very good location for 16th street activities, and using the free tram to get you to the LoDo without walking. We were able to get to the skate park, Rei, and Coors field using free public transport and a little walking. $8 parking for the weekend. Overall a very good experience. I'll be looking to stay here again.

“Not a fan”

Magnolia Hotel Denver

Jun 16, 2008

The problem we had was at the very end but quite negative. The valets broke some glassware we had set aside as 'fragile' and were utterly worthless in their handling of said fragile contents. Broken glass and ruined clothes were the result. No reply from management to my follow up so i'd not recommend this hotel. In all fairness the room was nice but so are the rooms in most hotels.

“Lovely Hotel”

Magnolia Hotel Denver

Stockholm , Sweden

Stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights! Service was excellent and staff was great! Room was so posh and nice! Bathroom even better, with great shampo and lotions. Also included is free morning meal, evening cookies and milk, free glass of wine or beer.
Hotel has the best location possible in downtown Denver.
It is also very nice to sit and have a drink in the Hotel bar called Harrys Bar. Ask for Brandon or Christina to serve you , two very nice and great people.
Love this hotel and all about it!

our stay at the Magnolia was eccelent. The room very clean and nice for a good rate. The locaton just perfect one block from the 16th with shops and restaurants. Yes you can hear the traffic but that's normal at a down town locaton. I will be back at the Magnolia.
