The first thing is the air condition did not work for the entire first day. It seems the electrical plug had burned up and was causing the whole hotel to flip circuit breakers. Anyway, they fixed the air conditioner that night, I'm not sure how they fixed it because it looked like the air conditioner had previously caught fire or something. Well the air worked very well after that, even though I was afraid I would wake up in the middle of the night with a fire in our room. After that we discovered that we had a mouse in our room. When we advised the hotel staff the next day they just acted like this was a normal thing that happens. well, it was disgusting. It was dirty and old and in need of great repairs. Our hotel room door had a gap at the bottom of about an inch so I guess this would explain why there were mice in the hotel.

Anyway, I do not recommend that anyway spend any time at this hotel at all. It was very scary. I can't even believe that they charge money to stay at their hotel.

Me and my friends booked this hotel for 4 nights during spring break. Overall, our stay was pleasant. The staff was very helpful. We first tried to book a standard room, but when they were all full, the employee we spoke with put us in a much larger effeciency room for the same price as the standard room. Also, the location is amazing! The hotel is located right on the beach and the main street, about a mile from the center of Daytona. It is in a more quiet area, but you are still within walking distance of all of the attractions that Daytona has to offer. There is also a souvenier shop and a Seven Eleven right across the street. We enjoyed the large pool, balcony view, and the free breakfast during our stay, and there was even an outside bar. The staff did allow drinking on the pool deck (near the bar), but there were security guards on site to make sure that nothing got out of control. My only complaints were: we were only given enough towels for 2 people although our room easily accomodated 4, the bathroom was tiny, the kitchen in our room didn't have enough eating utensils (there was only 1 spoon!) , the elevators were slow, and the fitness room didn't have a treadmill and needed a thorough cleaning. However, these were all minor things and I would definately stay here again. The value of the hotel makes up for any problems that we experienced.

We booked a four night stay.
Nice pool area but not heated, inn is right on the beach. Room is ok not too updated. Shower head was broken but fixed right away.
Did not get the kitchenette as described in our booking and were told we could move the next day but then they said they didnt have any available. We had a microwave and refrigerator. It has a bar at t the pool. over all ok place to stay for price. The strip has tons of hotels and inns so do your research,

The hotel has just been bought by a new company who is completely redoing the entire place. You can tell they are still doing some renovations but its certainly worth the price. The hotel staff were great throughout our stay and the view was amazing.
