The location is fabulous and the view on Gulf side is marvellous so book a water view balcony. But the bathroom in hotel room is small, the pool complex is across the busy car park, and the breakfast buffet service poor.
We enjoyed using the small hammock beach, the sea was bath water temperature and loungers were provided.
The air con unit in room was too noisy, coming on every few minutes.
The food at breakfast was ok indeed good with fresh fruit but the staff serving had little idea who was responsible for serving juice, tea etc.
We did get free internet because of Hilton ff status and it worked easily.
Would try again, as is near to Peenekamp Park, very good for snorkelling, and the Fish House, excellent food.

We booked our stay through Priceline at $125 per night. When we checked in, we learned that the only rooms booked through Priceline are the rooms with one queen bed and one queen pull out couch. We preferred to have two queen beds and we were offerred an upgraded room at a cost of $30 per night. We were only staying one night and did not mind the extra $30 to get a good night's sleep.

The room was very nice and the beds were very comfy!

The staff were very friendly at check-in and check-out.

The grounds were beautiful. The beach area was quiet and well maintained. Plenty of chairs available. They had music playing on the beach, which was relaxing. They had a nice big dock and several people were fishing off of it.

We didn't use the pool...in fact we didn't even go over by it, so I can't comment on it.

This is a wonderful resort and we only wished we could have stayed longer! :o)

After spending a week traveling the Keys and finishing up in Key Largo, we were pleasantly surprised to find this Hotel/Resort was more than advertised. The staff were friendly and helpful; we checked in several hours early and got the requested ocean view room. (Note: there are a lot of trees growing in front of the hotel and if you were on the first or second floor, you would not be able to see the ocean. You need to make sure you ask for a room on the third or fourth floor.)
The room was large and well appointed with nice bedding, towels and a plasma TV. (Note: wireless internet is available but costs $12.95/day). The room had a nice private balcony with chairs.
The small beach was lovely, with a tikki bar with BBQ. Good snorkeling and a watersports (everything) rental right there.
There is a hardwood hammock area in front of the hotel with nature trails.
We ate the Treetop restaurant- very good and a wonderful view.
It was hard to leave.

We loved it here. Very relaxing, wandering along the little nature trail, lying in the hamocks, laying on the beach chairs in the ocean. We really loved all the trees right on the beach.
We paid for the cheapest room type, key room, and got a recently refurbished lovely room looking through palm trees to the beach and ocean.
Only ate breakfast at the restaurant, $20 buffet, so not cheap, but we were more than happy with it, and the waiters were great.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone who just wants to relax.
