I booked through Hotels.com and I am also upset with them as well, I booked for just a short weekend getaway. I thought that Hotels.com was giving me the better Deal with a supposed $75.00 credit that was to be at the front desk...The Hilton was offering a $50.00 credit..well the $75.00 was only $50.00 Hotels.com made a mistake,Hotels.com told me that their was no charge for a rollout sofa and the Hilton web site did not have a charge for it either. this is where it all began...checked in to the Hotel they tell us that we will be charged $12.00 a night for parking..when we park, we notice that there are signs posted "we are not responsible for vehicles parked in our parking lot"...helllooo...Im paying for parking and You're not watching it?..the stay was alright,room decently clean,clean towel service everyday and sheets and beds good.. we rented a movie $12.99, fine..next day check out..here's the doozie..$roll away bed and extra $20.00 a DAY,they "taxed" my parking..and a $2.00 fee for the telephone being used to order up the movie!!!!
are you kidding me..Its not the 12.00 here the 20.00 there or the$200.00 a night for the room...its when Hotels just DIME YOU TO DEATH and are TOTAL SNEAKS about it, thats what PEEVES YOU!My husband and I stayed there 18 years ago for a short weekend after our Honeymoon and had such a great experience...not this time! NEXT TIME I"LL FIND A CLEAN MOM AND POPS PLACE...ps..If you plan to Snorkel go to Keys Diver at mm100 next wendys. They were GREAT!!!!!!!!
