This was a great hotel. I would recommended it to anyone. Yes, there are planes fying overhead but, you barely notice this. The rooms were very clean and hotel staff was great. The only problem that I found was the cost of transportation to the other side of the island. They could greatly benefit from a shuttle or even moped or bike rentals at there facility. Most are located on the other side leaving you to find a way there and a way back. Stay clear of the local bus transportation it is definately an experience. It would be nice if ther tiki area stayed open a little later. And tiki staff a little more friendly. Over all I would definately stay again if the transportation issue was fixed.

We stayed here with our 3 children.The room was huge and we were all impressed with its size. There was a fridge in the room which was nice. There was also a door leading to a screened balcony which my husband and I enjoyed after the kids went to bed. In the am, there was a really good bfast included. Waffles, fruits, cereal, muffins,coffee and juices included. The pool was very nice and warm too. It has two small waterfalls and there is a pool bar, which we did not use. Across the street from the hotel is the ocean, although there is not a beach right there. We drove a short half mile down the road to visit the beach. We were on the second floor, of two floors. There is not an elevator so this could be an issue for elderly or handicapped people. We did not hear other guests when in our room, which was great. The bathroom door would only close with a slam, the carpet seemed a little dirty although it looked clean since it was dark in color and one of the room keys did not work to open our room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!

The pool was beautiful, 1 mile from the beach and grocery store. 10 minutes from downtown. The room was big, clean and computer in the front lobby. It was my 3rd time staying there and no complaints at all. The moring breakfast had plenty to choose from!!! Going back next year and will stay here.

We stayed in a first floor, ocean front room in Feb 2008. The room was over-sized, extremely comfortable and clean, with a coffee maker, micro-fridge. The furnishings were clean and not worn, and plenty of storage space to put your items away. There was a balcony with very nice seating, where we drank our morning coffee every day overlooking the ocean (across the street). The pool area is beautiful and clean; we ate at the Cheekie Hut by the pool the first night we arrived to avoid having to go out on our first night. Our salads were very good, and the service was fine. The breakfast area is a little small for the crowds they have, but the breakfast was very good. We ate there every morning. We were never disturbed by any noise from the airport. In reading the other reviews, we did not encounter any of those issues. Perhaps the rooms that are not oceanfront aren’t as nice; I really can’t say, but I would not hesitate to recommend the ocean front rooms to anyone. We spent 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is a first class facility, and the staff was very friendly and nice, providing us information on getting around town and recommendations, etc. on multiple occasions.
