“Easy to Find, Easy to Forget”

I booked from the Days Inn website for $104/night with 1 double and 1 queen bed, poolside. Average room with no complaints about check-in as some reviewers seen to have had. My biggest complaint would be that if you have a lot of luggage it's a long way from the parking lot to your room. This is a great hotel for the directionally challenged because it is literally the first thing you see when you enter Key West. It's a 15 min. drive to Duval Street where the serious night life is.

Let me tell you about the Waffle House. It's attached to the Days Inn but there is a big sign as you come in that says "Not Affiliated with the Days Inn." When the 10 of us went in to eat about 7PM we were the
on;y people in the restaurant. The grill area is visible from the seating area and the cook was on his cell phone. The guy who came to take our order seemed to have a limited grasp of English and had to come back at least half a dozen times to ask us what we ordered. He still got most of it wrong. The cook talked on his cell phone the entire time he was cooking our food. It's quite funny to watch someone
try to cook with a cell phone jammed between his shoulder and ear while flipping eggs, making salads and mixing milkshakes. The food was
OK, but then it's hard to screw up lettuce and batter.

The reason I mentioned the sign is because the guy who came to clean our room the next morning was the non-English speaking waiter.

“Best deal and place experienced in the Keys”

Located once you get on the island, easy to find, and far enough from the hustle and bustle crowd of Duvall street. Suites are large, super clean, private balcony, Waffle house on site. One full bathroom, but you can enter it from bedroom and another door from the living room. Price was excellent at total $150/night. Parking for boats and trailers available. Best place stayed in the keys so far. Would absolutely book again. It was very nice to head to the crowds and traffice and noise at Duvall street, but then be able to head "home" to less noise and people. Easy drive to beaches and to shopping on Key West. Finding parking at beaches (free) was easy and less than 3 miles away. Parking on/near Duvall Street was easy--just bring change. Hotel does not have a shuttle to take you downtown. A good stay.

I loved the Days inn down in Key West, Patti at the front desk is nothing less than an angel..She made my day...
Only gripe...No Internet Connections...NONE
A real nice room at a real nice price....Mango will stay here again when performing in the Keys...

i must say -i was extremely skeptical about staying at this hotel based on all the reviews i read but i must say it wasn't bad at all
i actually thought it was above average. (and i have been to many around the world) At the end of the day who goes on vacation to stay in the room-if you are looking for a clean and affordable place to shower and sleep then this is the place for you!

“Not too bad; needs a little TLC in improving the room decor”

Decent accommodations. Room was fairly clean. The pool was very clear and the laundry facilities were good. Staff at the front desk were helpful and pleasant. The hotel housing staff were fast and accommodating. Based on the price, we probably would not have stayed here if we were not with a group. Not what one would expect for the great city of Key West, but overall, not too bad. Work on improving the room decor to brighten it up and this hotel may be one to consider in the future. A room refrigerator would also be great!
