Went to Disney to celebrate my youngest daughter's graduation from High School. Upon arrival we were greeted numerous times by the staff before we even made it to the front desk. We were in a bit of a rush as we had dinner reservations that evening at the Hoop Dee Doo Review and knew it would take some time to get over to Fort Wilderness. Check in was speedy and the concierge had our tickets ready and waiting for us. I can't say enough about not having to worry about our luggage! Mousekeeping did a really nice job with our room. There were five of us all together and we had plenty of everything. We would leave our room in the morning for breakfast and a bit of whatever park we chose for that day, would head back to our room mid day to rest and then head back out in the evenings for dinner and more parks. When we would arrive at our room in the afternoon it was always spotless and when we would arrive back in the late evenings there was nothing like having our beds turned down for us. The main lobby always had some kind of activity. For instance, one afternoon there was a little parade of princesses that must have been at the Floridian for the afternoon tea party. Every evening there was a piano player and there was nothing like watching the little ones twirling around in their little princess costumes to the piano music. Park Fare also has character dining in the mornings and evenings. Although we no longer have little ones, we love character dining. There's no question that this resort is a little pricey, but it was well worth every dollar.
