Was looking for a suite for a 6 day stay on Disney but didnt see the point in paying 10K$ for a suite at an upscale hotel given that we just needed somewhere to sleep, so instead booked a 1 bed suite at All Star Music.
I thought it was fantastic value. I requested and got a recently refurb'ed suite (actually i think they are all quite new) somewhere not too far from buses. Was given one in the Jazz Inn pointing towards the main walkway/communal area. Jazz Inn is a good choice - not too near the noise from the pools and not too far from the bus/restaurant.
Suite was great- it was clearly 2 older rooms that had been knocked together and refurbed and it had decent quality beds and finishings and loads of storage. Perfect for what we needed though of course not lots of upscale furniture. The housekeeping service was very good and the reception/concierge staff couldnt have been more helpful.
In my entire week I never waited more than 6-7 minutes for a bus to or from any of the resorts. The queues at the restaurant/diner were also quite fast moving (never more than 10 mins).
The diner is not somewhere I could recommend eating at frequently on a night time; cafeteria type self service food that was not especially varied but we ate there once on a night and it was fine. Breakfast, which we took there very morning, was also acceptableif not especially fancy.
The landscaping and pools certainly exceeded my expectation; it was very well kept and the pools were exceptionally clean and always manned by liefguards.
So clearly it is not the 4 seasons, but I would happily stay there again and I thought it was great value for money.
