This is a great place to stay, convenient to Universal and City Walk and great FREE hot breakfast. We picked this hotel for the location and were pleasantly surprised that it was even better than described. Large king beds, full size refrigerators and nice sitting area for entertaining. We'll be back again you can count on it!

Our family stayed here based on Trip Advisor reviews and we wanted a suite. All reviews are accurate regarding pool lacking sun, cleanliness of rooms, friendliness of staff. Our stay was very good and we would definitely recommend this hotel. We believe the strengths of this hotel are its cleanliness, staff friendliness/assistance, breakfast buffet, and proximity to everything.
The only things I would pick on (minor) are that I wished they had an elliptical machine in the fitness center and they could be more environmentally friendly as they don't have CFL lightbulbs or offer to not wash your towels/sheets every day to save on energy. Overall, a great value and a great hotel.

The reception staff was very friendly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable & it was very convenient having full size fridge to keep stocked with cold drinks & avoid paying theme park prices. There is an in room safe ($1.50 charge). There are laundry facilities on the 5 & 6th floor & soda machines on the 2nd.

My room was overlooking the pool which seemed a good size but always busy (even at night but I was there during spring break) I don’t think the pool area got sun in the afternoon / evening as it was in the middle of the hotel surrounded by rooms.

The Breakfast area can get very busy & we had to take our food back to the room on one occasion but if you get their early enough you can get a table. The Breakfast buffet had a good choice & food was tasty. There are fruits, cereal, juices, eggs, potato, bacon, pastries / breads & you can make your own waffles. There always seemed to be a person stocking up the buffet so everything was fresh.
There is always an evening drinks reception Monday to Thursday 5pm to 7pm but I wasn’t back in the hotel at this time.

There is a small shop at reception which sells snacks & a Universal desk selling tickets.
They also provide shuttles to some parks but I had a car so I didn’t use them. The car park is large & we never had a problem finding a spot by the front of the hotel.

Location is excellent, there are many restaurants / bars & a cinema within walking distance. The hotel is also beside an I-ride trolley stop.

The only problem I had with this hotel was the lack of a business centre. They do have a small room with two PC’s but only one is attached to a printer (to fax or photocopy you must go to the front desk.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again & have no problems recommending it to others.

This hotel was perfect for our quick family weekend getaway this past weekend, April 26-27. We booked this through a website where we pick the price we want to pay.
The suite was spacious, with an ample supply of linens and toiletries. The kitchen was complete with dishes & flatware-the furniture was a little dated, but great for the kids to jump all over-which we all know they will.
The breakfast buffet was alright-the make your own waflles-not the best of ideas, but the food was good. Eggs, sausages, cereal, yogurt, donuts....I didn't care for the fact that they use styrafoam plates and plastic utensils-this is a Hilton and I expected more-which I worte on my hotel review paper in my room. The dining area could be bigger, and the tables will only fit 4 people-for larger parties you must either borrow a chair from a neighbor or if you're lucky push 2 together (we weren't lucky).
The pool wasn't heated-we passed on swimming. We found that this hotel was mainly older travelers so the TV was news-not very stimulating for the kids-i didnt really feel it was kid friendly, although the staff was really nice to the kids.
I am happy with the price I paid for this stay. The staff was very nice-super speedy check-in, and finding the elevator & room number a breeze. As far as the room went-it was great-very comfortable but I would not have wanted to pay full price-I like a more kid-friendly stay and I like to eat on dishes.
