“Nice room & good location”

This hotel is near the intersection of I4 & the Turnpike. It is only a 5 minute drive to Universal's parking garage & a 20 minute drive to the Magic Kingdom lot. It seemed to be right in the middle of everything.

The room was nice & clean. No strange odors or stains. The halls were quite. The free breakfast was nice.

No complaints. Nice stay.

Great hotel on a great location close to Orlando Int Airport. Very good rooms, a free business center with internet computer, a very good breakfast. Nice staff, really nothing to complain about. Although close to airport, no noise. We recommend this hotel!

“Mostly positive experience”

We tried the Wingate Inn during our most recent stay in Orlando. Our experience was mostly positive.

Pluses:
* Convenient to Universal Studios
* Nice ceramic tile in bathrooms
* Pleasant lobby and breakfast area
*Easy parking
*Friendly and helpful staff
*Clean and comfortable room
*Nice breakfast selection - eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, juices, coffee

Negatives (minor complaints):
* Fitness center equipment is in desperate need of upgrade
* Couldn't find the pool (but found the indoor jacuzzi)
* No morning paper - some rooms received a paper but ours didn't
* No in-house git shop or convenience store nearby to purchase forgotten toiletries

I would recommend this hotel for individuals looking for a nice place to stay that is away from the I-Drive tourist area but still close to a major theme park.

Perfect location to catch that early morning flight out of ...free -all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast...free Internet in Business center..free USA Today...Free HBO....Modern Bathroom and shower amenities.. hair dryer..iron with ironing board...Fridge...27 " tv in console....WALK out the back door and you are at Denny's..Tony Roma's....Bennigans...Chili's ....Short drive up the street to Cracker Barrel......take a left onto Hoffner and you're at Publix Supermarket if you want to load up the fridge for your stay... If you INSIST on staying close to theme parks for your vacation..STAY HERE on your last night...you won't regret it. The photo's you see here in its description are 100% accurate.

“very good hotel”

stayed for 2 nights. hotel very clean and in good condition. front desk very efficient, friendly and helpful. breakfast included and perfectly adeqate to start teh day. the room had 2 large beds, free wi fi, safe etc. jacuzzi and gym open till late. very good rate compared to neighbouring hotels. also late night meal in the i hop restaurant in the car park was very good as well. only about 5 mins to universal
