We had booked 6 nites at the Ramada Limited two weeks ago. We were in Sarasota house hunting, so we did not need anything fancy, just someplace clean with a pool and whirlpool.
Our first impression of this hotel was that it was very old and not at all up to date. Our room was ok, looked clean, but that night we saw 5 roaches on the walls and in the bathroom and one on our bed. We complained the next morning and they said they had someone in that room who had a lot of food with him and stayed for two weeks, so that was the problem. We were moved to a different floor of the hotel, and did not see anymore bugs, however, the pool was very dirty, and the whirlpool was cold. We complained and they said their maintenance man does not work every day and they could do nothing about it. The breakfast was very limited, and coffee was not available except for three hours in the morning.

We walked next door to the Comfort Inn on Clark road and got the same rates, and found a very clean hotel, nice staff, no bugs, good breakfast, and a wonderful pool and whirlpool. Needless to say, we enjoyed our four nites at this hotel and would recommend it for someone who does not need all the extra's but something clean and it has a nice pool area.

I would not recommend the Ramada Limited.
