“Elegant”

The Indianapolis Sheraton was elegant and the suite was more than we could have asked for. The service was outstanding and everyone made an effort to make us feel welcome. I wish that breakfast had been included in our stay, but the Sunday breakfast buffet was mor than adequate and not badly priced. We would stay here again if we needed a place in the area. It was close to the I-465 interchange.

Stayed here on a cross-country trip; glad we were exhausted b/c too far from city/anything to reallyenjoy. Very suburban, & pretty far off the I-70 route. Pet-friendly A++++; fair & friendly about pets. Clean but very dated, older bathrooms, next to a mall (but it closes earlier than I anticipated). Close to a Ruth's Chris (which shares a parking lot with a Bob Evans & a Mc'D's - to give you some perspective). Directions on web site were wrong. Staff was VERY nice (to be expected from any SPG hotel), but felt rushed from valet & also hard parking issues - it was raining the morning of our departure & the front entrance had virtually no canopy (we were traveling X-country, needed to put my top down to load some luggage & my car got soaked; no real options to avoid this - needs some better coverage). Room service fast, friendly & fine. Again, great staff all around.

I stayed at this hotel one night. The room was clean and staff was friendly. I forgot a couple of toiletry items and they were happy to help out. The bed were soft and I slept well. Nothing special, but no complaints here.

If you stay at this property, be sure to ask for a suite, we didn't know and were stuck in the "old" side of the hotel. The beds badly need updating. Our friends were on the "suite" side and they had a nice stay. Our toilet broke several times and the lights kept burning out. The pool is rather small and loaded with kids.

“Needs Some TLC”

Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel and Suites

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Stayed the night of June 29th. I must say it has really gone downhill. I saw writting on the room hallways, stained carpet in the lobby, and some staff with attitudes. My boyfriend and I stayed in a King room. The bathroom was terrible. Needs new tile desperately and the floor had coffee stains everywhere. I used to come here for conventions about 7 years ago and the place was very nice. Now, I can honestly say that it does not deserve the Sheraton name. It's a down right disgrace to the name. Management need to do something immediately.
