Enjoyed this very much. I especially liked the circular theater that shows derby day. My niece enjoyed the game where you learn to race a horse.

We enjoyed our recent visit to the Kentucky Derby Musuem. My family loved the interactive exhibits such as sitting on a horse in the starting gate, posing next to Street Sense in the winners circle and the simulated betting. The museum had videos of past Derby races and I was able to see Secretariat win again. The museum offers a 30 minute free tour of Chruchill Downs that was very informative. I am happy we took the hour drive over from Lexington to visit.

My daughters were completely thrilled with the Kentucky Derby Museum. The Greatest Race film was in a circular theater and was nicely done. The visual and sound effects were amazing. I have to say we saw no tour guides. Churchill Downs was so packed that we did not get to see the winner's circle or the old thoroughbred and miniature pony. There was also not many places to sit and rest in the museum, but the museum was very cool and quiet. On the plus side, the past winners' trophies were really something to see.

Although I got to see this museum at night for a party, I fully recognized the museum itself is just beautiful with mult-media exhibits. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the Derby and horses.
