I stayed for three days at the end on November. This property is one of the nicer Holiday Inns I've stayed in. Friendly staff, nice big rooms with frig, excellent food. We were really pleased with the money we saved by staying here verse the French Quarter. The hotel is only a couple minutes from downtown and away from the drunks.

Dirty, old, poor service, smells bad, yuk! What a dump, I can't believe that I stayed there, NEVER again!!!!

The carpet, the drapes, and the paint has not changed in more than 10 years. The sheets were dirty, the carpet was dirty, the cafeteria food was bad, the neighbor hood is in a bad part of town, I can't think of anything nice about the hotel.

I rather sleep in my car!!

This is a very average hotel in an area surrounded by very average to poor hotels (West Bank). I have stayed here repeatedly over the last three years because as low as it is, it is better than most the options in the area. The breakfast bar and restaurant are below average and the service ranges from mediocre to poor. Once in a while you will find someone who smiles but that is rare. I was greeted at the front desk by a woman with a large tatoo on her chest (like a biker chick).

I wish there was a Hilton, Marriott or Embassy Suites on the West Bank but no such luck. If you have to stay here, suck it up and make do.

Friendly people, Very hospitable. Restaurant in Hotel is great. nice pool. Shuttle available which is nice.
