This hotel is very clean. It seems to be a good value for the area in the $120 per night range. It is quiet and easy to get in and out of. High speed internet works great and is easy to get connected.

I love this hotel. The pool was ice cold and the a/c was not continuous, though it was nicer than a standard Holiday Inn.

King Smoking Suite was well appointed with bar sink, fridge, microwave and 27" TV. Spacious room with good A/C. This Holiday Inn Express has the upgraded bedding that's pretty nice. However, even though you have a choice of pillows, they are still too puffy for me. I like a flatter pillow. Still, better than most hotels.

The high-speed internet in my room worked perfectly. Fast and connected every time. No dropped connections.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit low but the design of the shower head compensates well enough.

This hotel is sort of secluded at its location on Carson St. Not too many eating choices in easy walking distance; but, certianly plenty within a short drive. A huge 24-hour Wal-mart is less than 10 minutes away where you can get groceries and other stuff.

The window opens all the way which I like; but, the road noise outside is pretty loud. High winds when I was there howled around the building. Spooky but kind of cool too.

Overall, nice stay. I would recommend this hotel to others. There is also a fairly new Hampton Inn & Suites just down the street that looks pretty nice.

This is a new, 2 year old, HIX located at the far north end of Carson City. The motel is very clean and very inviting. The front desk clerk needs a little education in being frendly. She was very defensive and cold in answers to our questions. The room was of adequate size with two queen beds, very comfortable, and a small work table with chair. The bathroom and sink was in separate room. The room was very clean. Our room, #133, was facing south and highway noise was not a problem. The breakfast menu had both hot and cold items. The breakfast area had 5 or 6 tables and the food counter was rather small and got very crowded around 7:45 to 8:15. The breakfast selection was more than adequate. The outside appearance was very inviting with a large parking area in the back. Parking stalls were of a normal size. The majority of the restaurants and casinos of the town are located 5 or 6 miles south of the motel in the center or south of the town. One downside on our stay was the "No refund if cancelled or changed". We made the guarantee reservation on the HI website a month prior to our stay. Luckly everything work out and we were able to make out reservation date.
