We have been to Las Vegas several times prior to this trip and usually stayed on strip or at the Orleans which we like very much but this time we wanted to do things totally different. What a gem of a resort this is for all. Booked for 5 nights and just was not long enough. We had late check in at night and the staff greeted us very professionally and very helpful. We had booked through Allegiant Air and chose this resort package. I had called direct and requested higher level floor and possibly with mountain or pool view. Well, we got it all. They placed us on 12th floor to begin with but upon walking in and going barefoot into the bathroom we noticed carpet very wet. Called down to desk and was told they would move us up to 16th floor, sending bellman up with keys to change rooms. The rooms are awesome from furnishing very contemporary to the view of not only of Red Rock Canyon but a direct view of beautiful pool. Everywhere we looked the rooms were well cleaned and no problems with staff. In fact, our check in guy, Alfonso was extremely pleasant and sent to our room the next day bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. Did not open then but requested from T-Bones restaurant if could bring down but would charge $35.00 corking fee! Well, we chose to open in our room and enjoy. The pool staff is very accomodating and pleasant. Pool area--well, it is the best and always plenty of places to lounge. Too bad the hours are 9:00am-7pm because would be great to have evening swim or sit by pool area and relax at night. We loved the starting mornng with breakfast buffet, wait staff very nice and attentive. Grand Cafe was okay but we ate most away. Not gamblers but loved the hotels decor and amazed how well built and corrdinating interior and exterior was through out. The Valet was very good and never kept us waiting long and ALWAYS ask if you need directions anywhere (nice touch). Also, in the main hotel lobby they keep bottled water available all the time and you can have whenever you like plus the best crisp apples. Would we stay here again? You bet and I don't think you would be unhappy at all with this choice. Booked a Grand Canyon West Rim with Skywalk and we had rented car so drove out to see Valley of Fire (what views). This is great place if you rent a car but can see if fees for taxis are high and you like the strip scene, you might want to reconsider. We have enjoyed many shows in past and been on strip at night enough that we chose to enjoy the ambiance of Red Rock hotel.

“Beautiful hotel, truly awful service”

We arrived for a two night stay at Red Rock only to be greeted by an extremely rude front desk person advising us that the two rooms we had booked had only come through as one. And a blank, bored stare.

We asked if this could be fixed, showing the confirmation with TWO ROOMS CLEARLY LISTED, and we were told snottily that it wasn't up to them. Cue blank stare again.

It took 20 minutes for them to check with a manager and finally let us have two rooms. They admitted there was several rooms available anyway.

OK. So we go to our rooms. Which are BEAUTIFUL. Make no mistake, this is a gorgeous hotel. The rooms, the spa and the pool area are particularly wonderful.

However, we continued to get stuck with horrible service from front desk. We called to confirm that our room had breakfast (per the booking) and spent 15 minutes going in circles between security and front desk before anyone could help us. The next morning, we went downstairs to confirm the details and spoke to Carmen. Oh, Carmen. I wanted to throttle her! She was so rude, rolling her eyes and sighing and not ONCE apologising for any inconvenience. And she could NOT agree to the breakfast until we asked to speak to the manager.

We left feeling extremely disappointed and pretty angry with the whole experience. Coming from Australia, we had hoped that this was going to be wonderful and it turned out to be a waste of money.

“Really Nice Hotel”

I stayed at the Red Rock for a business event and the hotel and the staff were wonderful. We had a standard room and it was nicely sized, with a very large bathroom. The pool area was beautiful and nicely kept, as was the spa. I had a spa treatment while I was there, which was also great. The only drawback is that since you are far away from the strip, unless you are willing to pay the relatively expensive cab ride, your only options for entertainment are to stay on premisis or wait for the shuttle to take you to the strip. We didn't know about the shuttle until our last day there since the one staff member said there wasn't one then another said there was, but this was the only lapse in the service.

We loved our suite! Very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful! The Japanese restaurant in the hotel has very good sushi. We enjoyed the casino. We loved the spa. We loved the pool! We enjoyed our stay! Close to the Red Rocks which I highly recommend seeing; a 13 mile trip around the beautiful red rocks!

“Very good, but a little short of great this time.”

Just back from my third stay at Red Rock and it was a very good once again , but a little short of great.
The front desk and check-in was fast and easy, friendly service from all. We tried the Spa for a massage shortly after check-in and while the service and facilities were nice, the cost was pretty high. We had 6 in our group and I booked through the casino based on past play at Red Reck and other Station properties. The rate was a steal for the accomodations, but our room was one of those with a little "edge" to it. There was one picture missing from the wall, one of the lights did not work, no robes or slippers in the room and there were items left in the drawers from the previous guests. If you don't mind walking the hall, I recommend the rooms on the upper floors, away from the elevators, this is the newer end of the building.
We used the on-site restaurants quite a bit. The food court was OK, the buffet was very good, Terra Rossa was very good, the Cafe needs some help. One night we could not get seated at the Cafe even though it appeared there were plenty of tables? We walked out, bad form, bad management at Cafe.
The casino is very nice at the Red Rock, but it would appear that the regular slots have been "tightened up". We don't play VP? Our group played a lot on the slots with very, very little winning?
(We stopped in at Orleans and hit a few $1 machines in 30 min.)Word of advice: Stay out of the High Limit slot area, it was a good place to play 2 yrs. ago, now the machines are TIGHT! The tables were good, most dealers were friendly, $5 BJ still available during the day, but $10 and $15 at night.
The pools/backyard at the Red Rock is a fantastic place to relax. If you stay here and the weather is good, go and enjoy the pools, the jacuzzis, sun beds, etc.....
In summary it was another nice time at Red Rock, I'm sure we will return. We ended up getting the room comped by our casino host at the end of the stay which was a nice bonus.
