The most beautiful course I have ever played. Extremely challenging. Bring lots of balls, just have fun, and enjoy the course. Just wish they had a photo book of each hole for this course. The staff was great as well. Even a drive-thru snack shack!

I played this course on December 17, 2006. Amazing is the only way to describe the views and layout. Difficult yes, I quit keeping score after the 5th hole but that didn't stop me from taking in this awe inspiring course. Bring your junk balls as you will probably donate several to the mountain gods. The experience is definitely worth the drive. I will be back.
Had the most incredible day of golf!! The course is spectacular! Immaculate everywhere. Bring your A game and lots of balls! Some of the teeboxes you have to climb a flight of stairs to reach. Lots of forced carries. This is not a grip it and rip it course. You need to know your yardages per club. Other reviews have complained about no cart service. They have a drivethru snack shack on the front and the beverage cart stays on the 13th hole. the cart paths are so steep and narrow they cannot drive around. You have to sign a release to go out. The driving range was not as nice, irons only, no chipping area and small putting green. Go down the street and use the range at the Oasis if you want. The pro shop and restaraunt were excellent. All the staff we encountered were great. A definite must for serious golfers!
I have taken my clients now 7 times and I have played an extra 4 times during the Mesquite Amateur. All I can say is this, it is the best course around for beauty, challenge and skill levels for all.
Keep it in play and think your way through, it will reward you and your clients with a fantastic day of memories.
I have played Wolf Creek 4 times and hope to do so again. It is a challenging golf course that you have to think your way around. The are some holes where short left is horrible and others where just short is bad. My recommendation is to hit enough club. When in doubt use the longer club.
The greens and fairways are immaculate. The envirmentally sensitive areas (everything but the fairway) are a bit much, but those are the club rules so play by them.
In 18 holes every single one of the holes could be a signature hole on any other golf course (including some of the others in Mesquite). Take a good digital camera and be ready for hiking up to tee blocks (#2 and 3) and be ready for a long round. One of the rounds we played was in under 5 and half hours but we had the second tee time of the day.
