We played the Palms over the Easter Weekend. Our initial impression was similar to other great resorts. We were greeted well, had the first tee time and the course was in beautiful condition. Our only complaint, which we voiced to the pro shop was that we were hurried by the marshall. Though we finished the front nine in 2:05, the marshall seemed intent on interupting our game pace, catering to the threesome behind us who were trying to get 36 in for the day. We'd gladly have let them play through, but they never asked. Time is :15 per hole as stated on the manifest. At no time were we behind that schedule and finished 18 in 4:15. It marred an otherwise beautiful day.
