After a very long delayed flight into La Guardia, my family and I finally made it to the train stop near the hotel. I called the front desk to get directions to the hotel, only 4 blocks away. We were given good directions and made it to the hotel in just minutes.
We checked into a nice room and relaxed. The staff was able to give us directions to a nearby grocery store where we were able to purchase breakfast food. We also got directions for a nice walking area nearby where we got great views of Manhattan. (We had a great view from our window too!)
The place was well kept, clean (except the carpet we discovered when we looked at our now black socks) The staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the recliner in our room was broken and it had to be propped in the corner to sit in it, or you would fall backwards. We reported it to the staff, but nothing was done about it during our 5 day stay. There was also a lot of constructing going on in the area, so in the mornings, if you have the windows open, you hear a lot of construction noise. It will be going on for MANY years. They seem to be doing a lot of building in the area.
I would stay again, but would want a chair that you could use and the carpet in the room need to be cleaned, although they look clean!
