Hotel is very nice and very clean, because it is brand new. My parents were visiting me at Cornell but I got to see the room. And it was fairly inexpensive considering how nice it was. Plus the breakfast in the morning was also great.

This is the best hotel I have been to so far in the US. Great service, great customer care, they care for you. The food is great with a free glass of wine and beer in the evenings. The rooms are the cleanest, and I have already booked my stay there for my next trip to Ithaca, NY. All the Best and keep it up!

We stayed at the Homewood Suites in Ithaca in January and absolutely loved our stay. We were welcomed by such a friendly young lady working at the desk. Our checkin was very quick and easy, and at the same time so warm. It was probably a mix of the friendly desk clerk and the smell of the fresh baked cookies that they just took out of the oven in the nearby kitchen. I have to admit, I couldn't resist. They let us help ourselves to cookies and brought us some milk, all before the evening happy hour started. Upon entering our room we were so surprised at the size of the room. It was sooo roomy! Then I found the bed...heaven! I had a hard time pulling myself from the bed to go back down to the happy hour. At the happy hour, they served a very nice meal of lasagna, salad bar, wine and other beverages. Did I mention this was FREE! Everything was great. The lady working the happy hour was so friendly and told us about many of the local sights to see. And there definitely are many! We returned to our room for probably one of the BEST night's sleep that we both have ever had...ever! The bed was so comfortable and big. The down duvet kept us perfectly warm. I loved the decor in the room. The hotel is filled with artwork of photos from all around the area providing a very comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was great. There were eggs, french toast, sausage, belgium waffles, muffins, pastries, fresh fruit...I couldn't make up my mind! And this was FREE also! The two ladies that served the breakfast were also very nice. We plan on returning again and again!

If you're going to Ithaca, no need to look any further than this place. It's a short drive 5-10 minutes to Cornell U. If you have to find a negative somewhere, that might be it. However, they provide a free shuttle service to and from the University, as well as other destinations in the area including the regional airport. The room was HUGE. Their rooms are suites, so they had full-size refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves in the kitchens, as well as a dining table. All very clean and in new condition. The bed was extremely comfortable. The entire hotel was very clean, and perhaps the best part was the staff. One gentleman in particular who works there, Jason, is great. He checked me into the hotel in a few seconds. The next day he was driving the shuttle to pick us up from Cornell, making two trips for our group. Always incredibly pleasant. He and everyone else there were all very helpful and accommodating. They have a very nice complimentary breakfast every morning including eggs, meat, pancakes, waffles, cereals, etc. In addition, the evening reception during weeknights (M-Th I think) is fantastic. They offered complimentary soup, salad, and dinner rolls as well as beer and wine. Yes I took advantage. I was there with quite a large group of people for a conference at Cornell and they left the beer and wine out for us well after the two hour event as we were having quite a good time. Simply put-great hotel for the price. Highly recommended.
