We stopped here for dinner after a day at Lake George. The restaurant is broken up into two halves, separated by a driveway and parking lot for guests.
The left side serves pizza and sandwiches along with a few pasta dishes, the right side is more formal with a full Italian dinner menu including daily specials.
Both sides feature outside dining, the right side has two levels and is much bigger.
We ate at the formal side. My wife had Chicken Marsala, I had Fruit de Mare, the kids had a pasta dish. We also had Minestrone and each of our dinners came with a salad.
We all loved our dishes, the Fruit de Mare was full of mussels, scallops, clams, large shrimp, and calamari in a very tasty and spicy tomato sauce. The soup was fresh and full of vegetables. About the only disappointment were the salad dressings, which obviously came out of a bottle. The Marsala was very tender, and the meatballs and ziti were in a light tomato sauce.
The service was a bit slow, and the wine menu is fairly small, but the food was beyond our expectations. We would definitely eat here again and we'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake George.
