The hotel was located conveiently 20 metres from the ferry terminal in Nelly Bay. We were greated by a freidnly porter who took our luggage ;to our room. We were greater by the friendly front desk staff who quicly checked us in. The room was lcoated on the third floor, the top florr, however with only steps to get up, it was a bit of a hassle dragging suitcases up three flights. The room was very nice, it was two bedroom and had a balcony looking over the marina and a decent sized kitchen which was fully self-contained. One of the rooms, however, did not have air conditioning or a fan which in North Queensland, mid-summer weather, was not overly comfortable. The pool was the highlight of the hotel, it was amazing, not a pool, it was more a lagoon stretching a few hundred meters around. The breakfast buffett was wel priced at $28 and the food was great. Any requests were delt with easily any promptly and check-out was not a hassle as the bill was divided evenly between 6. Generally a very pleasant stay.
