I stayed at this property for one night on business. The hotel is located a few miles from the downtown business district of Dallas, and is accessible. Given the resouces on the property, $200/night was certainly a reasonable price to pay for lodging.
I was amazed at the size of the property! The lobby has huge ceilings, with elephant scultpures, paintings, and marble flooring, and had the feel of a Vegas casino! It takes several minuts to walk from one end of the hotel to the other. Check in was fast and efficient, and they validated the parking, which was a huge bonus!
There are 2 atriums in addition to the Tower, so plenty of rooms to choose from. I stayed in the Atrium, which was fine. Plenty of elevators, 2 sinks in the bathroom, and a nice sized TV. I was somewhat disappointed that the rooms do not have wireless internet, and that there is a charge to use the ethernet connection in the room.
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. I ate in the Sports Bar as well as the breakfast buffet in the Atrium, and both were good, reasonably priced meals.
The property has a nice sculpture garden, with a soft running track of 1/4 mile, which I used, which was very nice. I didn't go to the gym, but I believe they charge a fee for using the machines on the property. There are several areas to have a drink and relax.
I would certainly consider staying here again on business, and if I ever brought the family to Dallas on vacation, this property would certainly be a consideration.
