We stayed here while visiting the wine and garlic festival. The festival was ok, but this Hampton Inn was great. The accomodations were exceeded only by the staff, who were the best I have ever encountered. If you are in the area, definitely plan to stay here.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel during the month of August 2007. We redeemed Hilton Honors points for a 1 night stay. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a King Suite ---- talk about a LARGE room!! Separate kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathoom. We left the room for a short while after check-in and upon returning to our room we found a "thank you" note and a pack or Oreos and bottle of water! Hampton Inn really has their "act" together.

Room #307***This is a very nicely appointed hotel, beautiful lobby area, attractive, well-equipped business desk and location, location, location. Basically ON campus with great service, professional staff and very good breakfast. Hotels for me however are for resting/sleeping while travelling. Sleeping means quiet. (Tsk, tsk just one of my little quirks.......) Elevator noise, excess corridor noise, and heliport (maybe on TOP on the hotel!) do not make for a restful night's sleep.

bonus Tip***In the main lobby hangs a painting of "Crabtree Falls" in Nelson County. I was so inspired I took the side trip.....do yourself a favor, save time and gas money, sit in the lobby and savor it's beauty............j
