I stayed here for 3 nights whilst touring round Puglia for a couple of weeks last year. The hotel is in a great spot just outside Alberobello (a 10 - 15 minute walk up a gentle hill and not much in the way of a pavement!), though it is on the wrong side of a busy road with no pedestrian crossing if you're travelling with elderly people or small children. On arrival, I got the impression from the grounds/garden that the hotel may not yet be finished, but my fears were ungrounded! Great too that it has a little carpark.
The reception area is small and the receptionist did not speak much English which wasn't a problem for me as I speak Italian, but may be a concern for some. Our bedroom was great, with plenty of space and if it wasn't for the train line directly in front of the hotel I would have enjoyed my lie in.
We ate in the hotel one evening when it was raining too heavily for us to contemplate the walk into town and both the food and service were excellent.
I would highly recommend this hotel to those who don't mind a bit of a walk to get to Alberobello itself, and who are up early enough (8ish) not to be disturbed by the trains flying past the window. It is a really great little place!
