This hotel is based in the predominately German resort of Cala Ratajda

It's a great little resort with beaches, plenty of good places to eat and nightlife.

This hotel is a 15 minute walk to the beach but the hotel operate a shuttle which takes about 5 mins.

The pluses and minuses for the hotel are

Pluses
-Great for kids- there's a club plus turtles and birds in reception (the feathered kinds!) plus kids disco at 8.30 every night
-Outdoor pool and lovely indoor one in the health suite which is great
-Large suite rooms
-Staff are very helpful and friendly especially the in house entertainement/kids team
-There is an ongoing entertainment program including trips outside
-Good value-we paid £170 per night half board 2 adults, 1 child, 1 baby

Minus
-food-we found the food poor quality (except breakfast) especially the meat which was mostly fatty and bony. Although we were half board we actually chose to eat out after a few days of the food
-you may prefer to be nearer a beach
-the bathing area around the pool is quite cramped and unfortunately the hotel did not enforce its stated policy of "no towels can reserve beds"
-the lunch bar only did mini pizzas before 1pm when the full menu was available (unless you wanted a full buffet meal inside)


Who Should Stay Here?

If you've got kids and don't mind being a short walk/shuttle to the beach this may be a good choice for you

Unless you must have half board/all inclusive I suggest going B&B and eating in some of the great local restaurants which are really cheap e.g most did Pizzas for only 5 EUROs
