“Great location”

Very good hotel for a family holiday. Staff were brilliant and very attentive. Hotel located directly onto the sandy beach although the pool area has all that was needed if you do not want to venture onto the beach.
Roadside rooms are a bit on the noisey side, if you go to bed before midnight, although the hotel is in a quieter part of Can Picafort. I would return again and recommend this hotel and location.

Would recommend this hotel without hesitation, a fantastic location set right on the beach what more could you ask for! Very clean with maid service everyday and clean towels provided daily. The staff were all very friendly and approachable, brilliant team of waiters who work extremely hard. Lee and Gill were both an assett to the entertainments team and were very funny. Never had to leave the hotel at night as the entertainment was very good at hotel with something for everyone. There is a rule at the hotel about reserving sunbeds, however some guests blatenly ignored this and it did happen on a daily basis. Very flat walk or bike ride into main resort which is located along promenade located directly outside hotel. Wouldnt reccommend the local bus service to anyone with claustrophobia as they are extremely packed in high season. my family would definitley revisit this hotel.

Hi We have just returned from this hotel a family of three (child age 11) Booked this at really short notice and stayed for 10 nights. The hotel was spot on. The location was outstanding, stepping from the hotel to the beach, the waves were great and sea was warm. BINGO, Lee and Gill (we cannot stop singing 50, 50 its off to work we go, with a knife and a fork and a belly full of pork, 50, 50, 50) The food is typically British, the hotel caters for the British and is very safe. Hire bikes, electric scooters and zip up and down the promanade, which has a seperate bike lane. We have been to Ca'n Picafort before and have stayed in 4* which did not compare as this was much better, with no stuffiness and genuine happy people. Overall we had a nice room with sea view, no TV (but could upgrade) and a lovely holiday. For a truly good time with kids try this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

“Best Looking Bar waiters in town”

Where do I begin? This is a fab hotel and I want to live there for the rest of my life! The setting is absolutely beautiful, the website photos dont do it justice. I have never met such lovely happy staff in my life and the waiters/barmen are to die for. Lee who does the entertainment at night is absolutely hilarious and yes the entertainment was typical spanish hotel type but what do you expect ? Elton John!!! I went with my son aged 7 who loved the kids club (be warned it gets very busy and you have to get there early to get a place). Being a single mum I always rely on family members to go on holiday with me but I would certainly feel safe and happy if I went to this hotel on my own with my son, everyone is so friendly. The food was excellent for a 3 star hotel and the kids buffet is a great idea. Drinks in the hotel were very reasonably priced and the bar snacks were great value especially the pizzas, yummy. My only regret about this holiday was that I didnt book for another week. Cant wait to return.

“quiet location”

Hotel Son Baulo

have just returned from one week with my husband and 5 year old. Having read other reviews we booked a sea view room and it was relatively quiet apart from hearing the entertainment from the hotel next door some evenings. I have never had such a quick check in, my husband got the case off the coach and I went to the desk, and already had the key and safety deposit key by the time he arrived. The room was plainly decorated no frills, however, all we needed. There was a double bed and a single (which seemed standard) case stand, bedside cabinet and dressing table plus 2 double wardrobes. The bathroom had a bath with shower attachment and the hotel had a soap dispenser and had provided a bar of soap.

There are 3 pools, the first is the size of a double bath which is just for babies, another about 2mX4m and starts at 17cm to 90cm depth. Then the main pool which has 2 separated sections the childs is about 1m deep but the adults goes as deep as 2.25m, to touch the floor I could only go down one of the sets of steps out of 3. There are no inflatables allowed in the pool which the management do monitor and no reserving of sunbeds they even have a specific place for left towels which they take off.

The sea was very warm and great for kids as slowly shelving and great for jumping waves in the afternoons. Food was good, a grill section everynight and they did try to provide some spanish food. Breakfast a bit samey and could have been a bit healthier. It is a walk into C'an Picafort (10mins) along a promenade, past local houses which was lovely every evening to go to the hustle and bustle but to go back somewhere quiet to sleep.

Overall great hotel for a 3 star, Thomson are only uk tour operator so 98% are brits.
